Steel wool pads 43 cm (17") for single-disc machines — box of 10

These 43 cm (17") steel wool pads fit the pad driver of a single-disc machine and are used with a crystallising product to crystallise marble, terrazzo and other calcium carbonate floors: the steel fibres generate the heat and pressure needed for the reaction, leaving a hard, shiny, resistant surface. They are also used for mechanical polishing of stone and, with a suitable product, for removing old deposits and floor finishes.

The fibres are fine and even, so they leave no scratches on polished stone, and the pad can be turned over and used on both sides. Dry the pad after use to prevent rusting, and discard it when worn. Do not use on floors sensitive to metal (e.g. unprotected lacquered parquet), and always wear protective gloves.
