Professional cleaning chemicals

Professional cleaning products differ from household chemicals in their concentration, their proven efficacy and the fact that each is made for a single task: degreasing a kitchen, maintaining floors, disinfecting washrooms or cleaning a hotel room. Interesta d.o.o. Podgorica is the authorised distributor of the Diversey range for Montenegro and in this category offers a complete range for hotels, restaurants, kitchens, laundries, healthcare facilities, schools and commercial buildings — with a warehouse in Podgorica and delivery throughout the country.

Products by area

For kitchen hygiene there are SUMA detergents and rinse aids for dishwashers, degreasers for hoods, ovens and grills, and disinfectants for food-contact surfaces. For floor care, the Jontec range covers daily cleaning, stripping, applying floor finish and polishing. Washroom hygiene includes products for limescale, toilets and tiles, while surface disinfection covers Oxivir products based on accelerated hydrogen peroxide with EN efficacy data. For hotel rooms and public areas there are dedicated Room Care and building care products (glass, stainless steel, all-purpose cleaners, air fresheners), and for textiles carpet care and professional laundry chemicals.

Concentrates or ready-to-use products

Larger premises choose concentrates with dosing systems: one bottle of concentrate replaces several ready-to-use packs, the price per litre of in-use solution is lower, and staff do not come into contact with undiluted chemicals. Smaller premises and those without dispensers choose ready-to-use products in spray bottles. The plant-based SURE line covers an entire building with around ten products and suits hotels looking for an eco-friendly programme free of hazardous chemicals. Alongside the products we also offer dosing equipment and cleaning equipment — mops, colour-coded cloths by zone and trolleys.

What you get with each product

For every product we provide a technical and safety data sheet in Montenegrin, dosing instructions and wall charts with concentrations. For the premises we supply, we also provide staff training, dispenser set-up and a zone-based cleaning and disinfection plan, including HACCP documentation for kitchens. For more than twenty years we have been supplying hotels on the coast and in Podgorica, restaurants, laundries and public institutions.

If you are not sure which product suits your surface or water hardness, send an enquiry via the contact form — the wrong choice often costs more than the product itself.

The core programme consists of five groups: a bathroom and washroom product (limescale and disinfection), an all-purpose cleaner for room surfaces, a glass and mirror cleaner, a floor cleaner suited to the floor type, and a disinfectant for high-touch surfaces. The kitchen has its own programme (machine warewashing, degreaser, disinfection), and the laundry the CLAX programme. For most hotels this means 8–12 products with a clear plan of who uses what.

Professional products are concentrated (one litre makes 20–200 litres of in-use solution), have efficacy proven to European standards (EN 1276, EN 13697, EN 14476 for disinfectants), come with a technical and safety data sheet, and have precisely defined dosing. Household chemicals are made for small areas and manual application, so they work out more expensive per litre and do not give a repeatable result on large areas.

They pay off as soon as a product is used every day — a restaurant, a smaller hotel or an office building with regular cleaning. With a simple manual dispenser or dosing pump, chemical consumption falls by 30–50% compared with ready-to-use products, and packaging waste almost disappears. For occasional cleaning or a single room, ready-to-use products in a trigger spray bottle are more practical.

Kitchens use products intended for the food sector: SUMA degreasers and disinfectants that are rinsed off with water, and alcohol-based products for rapid no-rinse disinfection (e.g. Alcosan VT10). The technical data sheet of each product states whether it is suitable for food-contact surfaces and whether it requires rinsing — we also mark this in the cleaning plan.

Yes. The Oxivir range is based on accelerated hydrogen peroxide with proven efficacy to EN 1276, EN 13697 and EN 14476 (virucidal), and Suma and Sprint disinfectants cover the kitchen and floors. For every disinfectant we supply a sheet with the contact time and concentration, which is required for HACCP and inspections.
