Window and glass cleaning equipment

Professional window and glass cleaning equipment — everything a cleaning company, hotel or shop needs to keep shop windows, windows and glass façades clean and streak-free: stainless steel window squeegees with rubber blade in 35 and 45 cm, stainless steel channels with rubbers in 35/45/65 cm, replacement squeegee rubbers in 71 and 92 cm, window cleaning sets with holder and sleeve in 25/35/45 cm, microfibre and polyester sleeves, abrasive sleeves for heavy soiling, scrapers with blades, telescopic poles up to 6 m and a ready-made TASKI window cleaning kit with telescopic handle, washer and squeegee.

How to choose window cleaning tools

A basic kit for professional window cleaning consists of three things: a washer (sleeve on a holder) that applies the solution and loosens the dirt, a window squeegee that removes the water in one stroke, and a microfibre cloth for edges and frames. Choose the width to suit the surface: 25 cm for small windows and mirrors, 35 cm as the all-round size, 45 cm for shop windows and façades. For glass beyond arm's reach, use a telescopic pole (2×150 cm to 3×200 cm); the squeegee and holder attach to it with a cone connector, so one person can clean ground- and first-floor windows from the ground, without a ladder. For baked-on dirt, sticker adhesive and paint, use a scraper with a blade, and for outdoor work and glass balustrades, the Hand Squeegee.

Why a stainless steel squeegee and the right rubber

In glass cleaning, the rubber and the squeegee channel make the difference: TTS stainless steel squeegees have a firm yet supple rubber that leaves no streaks and can be changed in 30 seconds, and stainless steel does not rust or scratch the frame. The rubber should be replaced when its edge becomes rough (usually every 3–6 months of intensive use), because a worn rubber leaves streaks whatever product you use. Sleeves can be washed at 60 °C and last 200–300 washes.

Glass cleaning products

For use with this equipment we recommend concentrates that leave no film: TASKI Sprint Glass, Cif Professional Glass & Multisurface or Sanea glass cleaner — all in the chemicals for daily surface cleaning category. For cleaning with a pole, a few drops of neutral detergent in a bucket of warm water are enough.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Three tools: a washer (holder with sleeve) that applies the solution, a window squeegee that removes the water, and a microfibre cloth for the edges. For greater heights a telescopic pole is added, and for stickers and paint a scraper with a blade. The all-round width is 35 cm; for shop windows and façades, 45 cm.

Apply the solution with the sleeve over the whole surface, then draw the squeegee from top to bottom with slightly overlapping strokes, wiping the rubber with a cloth after each stroke. Streaks are most often caused by a worn rubber and by products that leave a film — use silicone-free glass concentrates and replace the rubber every 3–6 months.

A 2×150 cm pole covers windows up to about 3.5 m high (ground floor and high ceilings), 2×200 cm up to about 4.5 m, and 3×200 cm up to 6 m — enough for the first floor from the ground. The squeegee and holder fit onto the pole's cone tip without tools.

Yes. Replacement rubbers in 71 and 92 cm (cut to the length of the squeegee), microfibre, polyester and abrasive sleeves in 25/35/45 cm, and scraper blades are in stock in Podgorica and are shipped throughout Montenegro. For larger premises we also offer staff training.
