Floor machine pads

Pads for floor machines — TASKI and 3M pads in 28, 33, 43 and 50 cm diameters for single-disc machines and scrubber dryers (ergodisc, swingo, ULTIMAXX). The colour indicates the application: white and red for daily cleaning and polishing, green and blue for scrubbing, black Hi-Pro and brown for stripping old floor finish; Twister diamond pads (white, yellow, green, blue, orange, pink) for cleaning and polishing stone and terrazzo with water only, without chemicals; Steelwool and steel wool for marble crystallisation; the Contact microfibre pad for fine cleaning and the Tapi Bonnet textile pad for carpets.

Which pad for which job

Daily machine cleaning of PVC and ceramic tiles: red or white. Deep cleaning and stripping: black or brown. Polishing to a shine: white, followed by Twister yellow/green. Stone without chemicals: the Twister system, step by step (white → yellow → green → blue). The diameter must match the machine's pad driver (43 cm is the most common). Pads can be washed and flipped over; replace them once they wear thin or lose their scrubbing power.
