CLAX Bright Bleach (44A1) is a liquid bleach and stain remover from the Diversey Clax system. This well-stabilised, effective bleaching system for low and medium temperatures is based on phthalimidoperoxyhexanoic acid. As a liquid, it is easy to dose and disperses evenly in the wash liquor.

It is added in the main wash at 40–50 °C and can be used on all fabric types (except wool and nylon), including colourfast items. This overcomes the key limitation of chlorine bleaches — CLAX Bright is safe for coloured textiles too.

Its main benefit is energy saving: as part of the LowTemp system, it bleaches at lower temperatures, saving energy and extending textile life. Minimal fibre damage means lower textile replacement costs. It can also be used to kill C. difficile and MRSA in the wash process, making it suitable for healthcare.
