CLAX Saturn – highly alkaline main wash booster (20 kg)

CLAX Saturn (12G1) is a strongly alkaline main wash booster from the Diversey Clax system, designed for professional processing of heavily soiled and greasy laundry in hard water. It is based on a blend of soap, non-ionic surfactants, water hardness sequestrants, alkaline salts, and anti-greying and anti-corrosion agents.

A powerful phosphate-based builder system keeps the concentration of water hardness ions low and prevents detergent ingredients from precipitating; the phosphates also act as anti-greying agents, holding soil particles in suspension so that they do not redeposit on textiles. The product also contains additional anti-redeposition components, as well as silicates, which are the main source of alkalinity and act as anti-corrosion agents and bleach stabilisers. An optical brightener ensures long-lasting whiteness.

CLAX Saturn is usually used together with a surfactant booster for exceptionally effective removal and dispersion of fatty and oily soils. Combined with a bleach, it forms a powerful system for heavily soiled workwear from the food industry, abattoirs and the fishing industry. A further advantage is that the pre-wash can be omitted, delivering significant savings in water, energy and time.
