TASKI Jontec Repel & Care is a water-based impregnator that penetrates and protects untreated porous natural stone and ceramics, indoors and outdoors.
It forms a dirt-repellent protective layer, making daily cleaning easier and extending the intervals between periodic maintenance. The treatment is invisible — it does not change the appearance or colour of the stone — and slows down staining from liquid spills.
Dosage: ready to use — do not dilute. Consumption depends on the porosity of the floor and can vary considerably, typically 10–40 ml/m² per application, i.e. 25–100 m² per litre. Test the floor's porosity with water beforehand to estimate consumption.
Application: treat only thoroughly cleaned, dry floors. Shake well before use. Working in sections of 2–3 m², apply the product evenly with a clean mop, applicator or single-disc machine (below 200 rpm) with a red pad, so that the surface is completely wet. Keep it wet for 3–5 minutes and do not let it dry (add more product if necessary). Remove any excess. If required, repeat the treatment after 1–3 hours, once the surface is touch-dry.
Note on excess product: on dark polished surfaces, excess product may leave a visible white film. If so, remove the excess with a clean dry cloth or squeegee. If the floor has already dried, spray with water and buff with a dry cloth or a single-disc machine (below 200 rpm) with a red pad, keeping the machine moving at all times. The floor may be slippery until the excess has been removed and it is completely dry; once dry, the treatment does not affect the floor's slip resistance.
Limitations: do not mix with chlorine products. Test material compatibility first on a small, inconspicuous area. For professional use only.
