ecoSTORM is a Diversey (Solenis) system for automatic biological drain maintenance in professional kitchens, foodservice, the food industry, retail and healthcare. A battery-powered wall-mounted dosing unit injects a concentrated biological formulation directly into the drain four times a day; the bacteria break down fats, oils and organic residues before they build up, so there are no blockages, backflow or unpleasant odours. No mains power or water connection, no chemicals on the floor and no manual dosing.

ecoSTORM Nutrient Liq (code 30000005) is a calcium nitrate-based liquid that works alongside Free-Flow Liq: under anaerobic conditions — low-flow drains, traps, manholes, settling tanks — bacteria slow down and hydrogen sulphide (the rotten-egg smell) forms. Nutrient supplies readily available oxygen, maintains aerobic conditions deep in the system, accelerates the breakdown of organic waste and significantly reduces odour formation. Fully soluble, colourless to pale yellow, odourless and non-flammable, it is dosed automatically via the ecoSTORM unit or directly into the problem drain, undiluted.
