ecoSTORM is a Diversey (Solenis) system for automatic biological drain maintenance in professional kitchens, foodservice, the food industry, retail and healthcare. A battery-powered, wall-mounted dosing unit injects a concentrated biological formulation directly into the drain four times a day; the bacteria break down fats, oils and organic residues before they build up, so there are no blockages, no backflow and no unpleasant odours. No mains power or water connection, no chemicals on the floor and no manual dosing.

ecoSTORM Nutrient starter kit (code 60064674) combines the ecoSTORM dosing unit with an initial refill of Nutrient Liq — for drains, siphons and manholes where the main problem is odour rather than blockage. Nutrient introduces oxygen into the anaerobic part of the system, preventing hydrogen sulphide from forming; combined with the Free-Flow kit on the same drain, it gives full protection against both grease and odours. After that, only 500 ml refill cartridges are needed.
