Cleaning equipment

Building cleaning equipment covers everything staff carry and use alongside cleaning products: trolleys, mops and frames, microfibre cloths, brushes and brooms, buckets with wringers, window cleaning tools and protective gloves. The right tools shorten cleaning times, reduce chemical consumption and prevent dirt being carried from washrooms into the kitchen. Interesta d.o.o. Podgorica is the Montenegro distributor for the TTS Cleaning and Vileda Professional ranges and equips hotels, cleaning companies, office buildings, schools and healthcare facilities.

What a complete set of cleaning equipment includes

The foundation is the cleaning trolley — from small housekeeping trolleys for room attendants to large service trolleys with a mop press and waste compartments. The trolley carries mops (flat microfibre, pocket or classic), mop frames and handles and poles, buckets and wringers and microfibre cloths, sponges and pads in four colours for zone separation. For washrooms and kitchens there are brushes and brooms and floor squeegees, for façades and shop windows, professional window cleaning tools, and for staff gloves and protective equipment. For machine cleaning, see machine pads and TASKI cleaning machines.

How to choose equipment for your premises

The starting point is the floor area and the number of rooms or square metres per shift. A 100-room hotel typically has one trolley per room attendant with a four-colour set of microfibre cloths and a flat mop for the rooms, plus a service trolley with a press for corridors and common areas. Offices and schools use two-bucket trolleys (clean and dirty water) and pocket mops, while kitchens and washrooms have their own colour-coded sets that are never used elsewhere on the premises. Microfibre removes dirt mechanically, achieving the same result with less chemical — which is why equipment and products should be chosen together, alongside professional cleaning chemicals and dosing equipment.

Why TTS and Vileda Professional

TTS Cleaning (Italy) manufactures modular trolleys and mop systems that are configured to suit your premises and are easy to maintain with spare parts, while Vileda Professional offers a microfibre range with a stated number of washes (up to 500) and HACCP colour coding. We keep both ranges in stock in Podgorica, including spare parts and consumable kits, and delivery throughout Montenegro is usually next working day.

Frequently asked questions

The minimum kit per cleaner is a trolley with a bucket and press, a flat microfibre mop with frame and handle, microfibre cloths in four colours (red for toilets, yellow for bathroom/washbasin, blue for rooms and surfaces, green for the kitchen), a toilet brush and gloves. For larger premises, a service trolley with a waste compartment, window cleaning tools and floor squeegees are added. For a 100-room hotel this usually means 6–8 kits plus spare mops and cloths for laundering.

So that dirt and microorganisms from washrooms are not carried into rooms and the kitchen. Colour coding is a simple rule that all staff understand without training: red only for the toilet, yellow for the rest of the bathroom, blue for the room and furniture, green for the kitchen. The same system is required by HACCP inspections in kitchens and by the internal standards of hotel chains.

Microfibre removes dirt mechanically, so it gives the same result with less chemical and water, dries faster and withstands 300–500 washes. Cotton is cheaper per piece, but it absorbs more chemical, takes longer to dry and wears out faster, so in practice it works out more expensive. A traditional mop only makes sense for rough cleaning of large areas in warehouses and garages.

Yes. For TTS trolleys we stock wheels, presses, buckets and bag holders, and for mop systems frames, handles and replacement mops. Most parts are delivered from our warehouse in Podgorica the next working day, so equipment is not left out of use because of a single broken part.
